About Us

Montrose Berry Farm is situated in the southern Highlands of New South Wales. Pleasantly surrounded by picturesque scenery,approx 1.5hrs from Sydney by car.

Montrose Berry Farm is a working Farm and is open to the public for berry picking when in season.  Growing Blueberries, raspberries, loganberries,  boysenberries, autumn raspberries, red currants and hazelnuts during season

Famous for homemade jams, vinegars, and an irresistable Berry pie. All of these can be purchased from The Farm shop. The farm shop opening times are during December, January and February for picking berries or purchases are from 9.30am to 4.00pm Wednesday to Sunday. Due to weddings or private functions being held at Montrose or public holidays we do vary our opening and closing times. The farm shop opening times during March to November are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturdays we are open from 10am to 1pm and Fridays and Sundays we are open from 10.00am to 4.00 pm, except when booked for private functions on these days.

Montrose boasts a historic heritage listed homestead, a self-contained 2 bed cottage, and a traditional keystone barn, which is the perfect backdrop for your events, whether a wedding, family gathering, even social groups as the lawns and gardens set a relaxing environment. Events can be catered for by your caterer’s or by your hosts.

From SYDNEY by road:
1.5 hrs South of Sydney take Sutton Forest turn off from Hume Highway (Golden Vale Road).

From CANBERRA by road:
2hrs North of Canberra take Moss Vale turn off (Illawarra Hwy) from Hume Highway.

  2. Hi, just wondering if you have a picnic area for a group of people to have a rest after the self berry picking?

    • Hi Tracy,
      Thanks for getting in contact. Sadly, picnic facilities are not available at the farm but are available at the rest area opposite the farm, or you can ask our staff about other nice spots in the nearby area, there are plenty!
